1. General
   
   1. These general terms and conditions apply to all rental agreements between E-chopper Verhuur Zeeland Snijders To Go vof (hereinafter: “Lessor”) and a renter (hereinafter: “Renter”) regarding the use of electric vehicles of the types HL6.0, M1P, M2, and CP1.6 (hereinafter collectively: “E-chopper”).
   2. By renting an E-chopper, the Renter agrees to these terms and conditions.
   3. Deviations from these terms and conditions are only binding if confirmed in writing by the Lessor.
2. Reservation and Payment
   
   1. Reservations can be made via the website, by phone, or by email.
   2. Payment must be made prior to the rental period, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Rental Conditions
   
   1. The minimum age for renting an E-chopper (types HL6.0, M1P, M2, or CP1.6) is 18 years.
   2. The Renter must possess a valid moped certificate or driver's license.
   3. Wearing a helmet is mandatory while using all vehicles. (For a small fee of €2.50, a hairnet can be purchased.)
   4. The Renter must follow the Lessor’s instructions and handle the vehicle responsibly. The E-chopper must not be operated under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
4. Liability and Insurance
   
   1. The vehicles are covered by third-party liability insurance. Damage to third parties is covered by this insurance.
   2. Damage to the vehicle caused by careless use, reckless driving, or failure to comply with traffic rules is fully the responsibility of the Renter.
   3. In case of damage or theft, a deductible of €1000 per vehicle applies, unless otherwise agreed.
   4. The Renter is always liable for their own behavior and that of any co-users.
   5. In case of technical malfunctions or breakdowns on the road, the Renter must immediately contact the Lessor.
5. Use and Return
   
   1. The Renter receives the vehicle in good condition and must return it in the same condition.
   2. Exceeding the agreed rental period will incur additional charges per started hour.
   3. The E-chopper is intended for recreational use only. It is not permitted for multiple persons to ride on one vehicle.
   4. Use outside the agreed route or area is not permitted without written consent from the Lessor.
6. Mileage Limit and Battery Consumption
   
   1. The maximum number of kilometers per rental day is 50 km.
   2. If exceeded, additional charges of €0.25 per extra kilometer will apply.
   3. The Renter must take battery usage into account; depleted batteries due to excessive use are not covered under standard roadside assistance.
7. Theft and Damage
   
   1. In case of loss or theft of the vehicle, parts (such as keys or battery), or accessories (such as helmet), the Renter is liable for the replacement value.
   2. In the event of theft of the vehicle, the current market value of the vehicle will be charged to the Renter.
   3. Damage must be reported immediately after the rental period.
   4. The Lessor will prepare a damage report in case of damage. Repair costs will be determined based on this report.
8. Weather Conditions and Safety
   
   1. In case of extreme weather (such as thunderstorms, storms, or heavy rainfall), the Lessor reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the reservation.
   2. If the Lessor cancels due to weather conditions, the Renter will receive a voucher.
9. Privacy
   1. Personal data is used solely for processing reservations and communication.
   2. Data will not be shared with third parties without the express consent of the Renter.
10. Final Provisions
    
    1. E-chopper Verhuur Zeeland Snijders To Go vof is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, or loss of property during the rental period.
    2. These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
    3. In case of disputes, the court in the district where the Lessor is established shall have jurisdiction.
